Works and live in Helsinki / Brussels
Michela Cane is a multidisciplinary visual artist based between Helsinki, Aosta, and Brussels. Her practice spans documentary and experimental photography, moving image, sculpture, and coding.
She is pursuing an MA in Photography at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, after a BA in Photography and Visual and Spatial Arts from ENSAV La Cambre, Brussels (2024).
Since 2024, she has exhibited in group shows in Belgium, Italy, and Helsinki, at venues including Hangar, Photo Art Center (BE), Photo Brussels Festival (BE), Le Jacques Franck (BE), Fondation A Stichting (BE), and the House of European History in partnership with the European Parliament (BE), with her first presentations in Finland at Gallery Toinen Silmä. Her work has been published in Medor Journal Magazine and by the Institut national du patrimoine de France. She presented a solo exhibition at Galerie du Soir, Musée de la Photo, Charleroi (BE) in May 2026.
